PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES
I love teaching private yoga! It allows me the opportunity to understand your personal needs and create a custom curriculum for you. I use a wide variety of tools and techniques including meditation, breath-work, and various forms of bodywork to help create balance in your life.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM PRIVATE CLASSES?
Your specific goals and needs are always at the forefront of the practice, which makes each private yoga class looks very different for everyone.
Our first session begins with a 30-minute consultation to understand where to begin your practice. Following each session, I will begin by asking questions to determine how you are feeling that day, getting feedback from the previous class, and checking in on your progress. From there, I will take notes and adjust the class accordingly. I may also give “homework” throughout the week so you can get into the routine of practicing on your own at home.
I spend a lot of time studying body language, watching the way your breath moves and noticing patterns within your body and energy. I use this information to enhance your practice. We may emphasis yoga philosophy, yoga asana, corrective exercise, modern movement techniques, breath-work, meditation, and much more. You will see a strong correlation between what you experience in our private yoga classes and everyday life challenges. I am here to teach you the valuable tools within the yoga practice to be more resilient to the stressors in your life.
